The most stunning is the nature ouside of the church. You have the cliff behind and the river right in front so beautiful setting. The inside is nothing in particular, a church. Dont know the history of it but I am sure there must be some interesting things or people at some point. Anyhow well worth a few minutes of your time to go inside.

Overlooking the river Meuse, right by the bridge, what a spectacular location...do take a look inside, it's free of charge and very impressive... don't forget to put on your face mask!

Although the church itself is a church one could find more often throughout Europe, it is always worth the visit. However, the real eyecatcher is the view outside, while standing at the Meuse. With its panoramic background it is a perfect photo for Instagram :) and/or those interested in making beautiful pictures. Please keep in mind that in winters the Meuse is more active than in summer, early autumn.. (important If you want to see the church’ reflection in the river).

A nice church located across from the river Muese with a mountain as a backdrop. It can clearly be seen from the view up the top of the Dinant Citadelle and from the cable car that takes you up there. There is no cost involved to go inside and have a look, the interior is quite nice with stained glass windows that show scenes from the bible. The church itself has been reconstructed a couple of times due to damage received during both WW1 and WW2. Good for a quick visit before heading up to the citadelle

The exterior is underwhelming compared to the pictures we saw before coming to Dinant. It really is rather drab. The interior is nice enough and very spacious - good job. Some good artefacts and some not so good artefacts. The shiny gold bust is the gem. A nice enough prayer room and space to light some prayer candles (one candle big enough for properly big requests to the man upstairs!). Odd use of straw chairs throughout, rather than the traditional pews enjoyed throughout most of Europe. However, the stations of the cross lived up to expectations. Truly brilliant depictions of a sad part of human history. We came back for additional photos.
