Situated on the banks of the Meuse this place is definitely worth a visit. We went on a Saturday and on that day there was free entry. Think this applies at weekends but check their website. On this day there were many volunteers all dressed in period costume which added to…

Thank you for your comments. It is free entrance once per year during the Heritage Day. That's why you have seen many volunteers dressed in period costume. It changes each year depending of the theme. For the other weekends, the entrance must be paid

Gardens excellent design. Formal and few flowers at least when we went. Orangerie very interesting. Gardens reasonably maintained. Location beside river great and interesting way gardens uses it. We Did not visit castle itself because of time issues.

Looked great! But we've been stopped right from the start as they do not accept credit card payment... Really disappointing that no one (not the tourist office, nor the multiple guides) told us about this "detail".

We are really sorry that we cannot accept credit card but it is too expensive for a familial private one castle (and too small amounts). We are searching for an on line payment solution but we have first to resolve the problem of connectivity to the born (more difficult in the countryside).
