This is just an "average" place to visit, although dedicated to General George Patton, who was one of the most influential generals during World War II. It is probably a must-see for those followers of the war.

This is a memorial you can easily pass up because it is nothing more than a face sculpture of Gen. George Patton. Senn one, seen them all.

The best part about the memorial is probably the free parking next to it. Not to disparage old blood & guts Patton, but it does seem like an afterthought. And I really do appreciate the free parking.

I kind of walked past this monument on the way to the main square, it is more profound at night, unless you have some deep connection to sandstone, i wouldnt call it a "must see". Its more of a snap and move on site.

Part of Bastogne War Museum. Entire site is excellent and recommended if visiting Bastogne. Walk around for several hours possible to see all there is to see.

This monument is in a bit of a funny spot, in the back corner of a parking lot next to some businesses. I only noticed it was there because it was close to my motel and I walked past from a distance a few times....More

Great tribute to a true American Hero. Patton pushed his men to do the impossible when that is what was needed. No other leader could have have saved Bastogne. A great tribute to this warrior.

Not much of a memorial surrounded by a carnival! And another building is right on top of the monument. Also does not look like him.
