Small park behind the museum but there are some roses which can be cool with the museum on the background. Some benches and a pond. Maybe on a sunny day might be a good place to be but it started to rain while we were there. But still, many people there, families playing.

This was the cherry on top of the cake! I was already so delighted with the whole city. But when on a lovely warm afternoon I decided to go to the Bovarie and was literally flabbergasted! The green areas along the river are just so enchanting. The Museum building is magnificent so is the cafe of the museum. The views are incredible. What an unforgettable afternoon.

Well worth a visit on a sunny day - the trees are huge, the rose garden very pretty and the coffeeshop in the museum has good coffee which can be enjoyed on the airy terrace.

This park on a peninsula of the Meuse is a nice change to the surrounding sea of houses. Of course, the art museum in the park is very attractive. The park with views to the Meuse has a few nice areas, but it is overall average.

We tried, we really did, to find the magic in this small park that some others seem to have found and we simply failed. To us, it was dirty and badly maintained, with wild fowl (like a swan that looked like it had an injured wing) that seem in need of assistance.

The Parc is located on an island in the middle of the Meuse River. It can be approached from several different directions; we walked along the river from the Cathedral and crossed Pont Albert ler to Rue du Parc. We walked about halfway through the park before we decided to turn around and head out. Although it was a nice green space once away from the water, it is a local park and didn’t seem to be anything special or a meaningful destination location if you are in Liege for only a day or so. Note that we did not go down as far as the tip of the island (toward the railway station) so perhaps there are more appealing spots to savor than we found.

In addition to the poorly maintain interior waterways, the parc ‘boasts’ a decent sized aviary in which free-flying parakeets (and a few other types of birds that somehow got inside) live. It seemed a bit out of place but we couldn’t find any signage that would indicate the why and wherefore.

In summary, there isn’t a lot of things to do in Liège for visitors so walking to this park is a something to do on a nice day in the city after exhausting the other touristy things. There are nice sections, with tall, mature trees, that lend themselves to a pleasant walk. But we found leaving the paved path around the bird areas was someone dicey, with more droppings than you could avoid, filthy water, and some birds that seem to need vet attention. And it also seems some folks in Liège don’t necessarily treasure their green space, because we found a lot of trash on the ground rather than in containers.

Three stars because we didn’t explore the entire island so may have missed some good spots but only three stars because it seemed at best an average green space.

A pleasant enough park, but it wouldn't have been worth going to, without a visit to the Boverie art museum

A very nice place to spend a pause. Not far away from the shopping center Mediacité (5 min). With a direct walking path along the Meuse river, you can join city center (around 15 min). The park is very beautiful. There is also a walk path around the wonderful museum whose building combines old and contemporary architecture with great success. There is some small birds and animals in the park. A play ground for children is also there. During sunny days you can enjoy ice cream from the street ice cream vendor. You can also spend time to picnic in the grass. So this place is nice to visit for all!
In case of a rainy day, just go there to visit the museum and take a coffee in the museum's cafeteria.

This is a nice park near the commercial shopping center Mediacité, nice to walk near the river Meuse. In this park you will also find the Museum of la Boverie with some great international events. Quiet area.

The cabins were extremely old. The smell, the kitchen, furniture. All. The house is with 2 bedroom and the rest sleeps in the living. We were with 5 but taking a shower in 1 wave is impossible with the boiler. It was damp. Horrible. The surrounding was beautiful. Don't go there when rain is expected.

This museum has a standard collection with some masterpieces (Ensor!). We visited the temporary exposition of Warholl. Well done. Friedly staff.
