Warholl
Dec 2020
This museum has a standard collection with some masterpieces (Ensor!). We visited the temporary exposition of Warholl. Well done. Friedly staff.

Very romantic afternoon
Aug 2020
This was the cherry on top of the cake! I was already so delighted with the whole city. But when on a lovely warm afternoon I decided to go to the Bovarie and was literally flabbergasted! The green areas along the river are just so enchanting. The Museum building is magnificent so is the cafe of the museum. The views are incredible. What an unforgettable afternoon.

Park for the inhabitants of the city
Jul 2020
Small park behind the museum but there are some roses which can be cool with the museum on the background. Some benches and a pond. Maybe on a sunny day might be a good place to be but it started to rain while we were there. But still, many people there, families playing.

The best parc in Liege
Apr 2019 • Friends
A beautiful parc in the heart of Liege on the island. There is a pond with ducks. I liked it the most in Liege.

City park on an island
Nov 2018 • Solo
Designed in 1862 parc de la Boverie is located on Outremeuse, an island in the river Meuse. It is in the south part of the city not far from Guillemins railway station and one of the few places in Liège easily accessible by bicycle and on foot (follow the sign Palais des Congrès).

The parc is relatively small as Liège is in a rather narrow river valley with lots of highways, buildings, factories and residential areas. However because it is bound by the river on most sides it is a lovely retreat from the hustling and bustling of the city.

Pretty park with amazing rose garden and nice coffeeshop in museum
Oct 2018 • Couples
Well worth a visit on a sunny day - the trees are huge, the rose garden very pretty and the coffeeshop in the museum has good coffee which can be enjoyed on the airy terrace.

Don't expect too much!
Oct 2018 • Friends
This park on a peninsula of the Meuse is a nice change to the surrounding sea of houses. Of course, the art museum in the park is very attractive. The park with views to the Meuse has a few nice areas, but it is overall average.

Nice park, but quite small
Aug 2018 • Family
The free to enter park is quite thin but long, consisting of a duckweed filled pond, mature trees, garden, La Boverie and play area. However the issue I have was that the play area was for either for toddlers or adults (with various exercise equipment), and nothing in between for pre-teens and teenagers. There are plenty of places to sit down and relax, the views of La Boverie, River and City are impressive, and worthy of a photo, but overall the park just feels somewhat lacking in facilities for it's prime position. For example if you need to go to the toilet, there are only Portaloos! Well worth a visit for La Boverie, views, and a nice Gelato from the visiting van, but don't expect too much from this park.

A Nice Green Space.
May 2018 • Solo
It's not Central Park but it's not bad. You've got the river on all sides and some nice green open spaces, perfect for a nice stroll or a picnic. Quite a few ducks in the ponds too!
