A perfect place for a drink and to hang out in the summer. Inside is not that attractive but the outside terrace is amazing.

Serving regional dishes and great wine.

One minus point: hardly any shade so the sun nearly burns you out. Some parasols could prevent that.

Brewery located in a former convent. Multiple level terraces with a unique qualitative and smiling service.
Worth to try their own beers in a charming venue.

Stumbled upon this place after visiting the steps. Nice, laid back place clearly popular with locals. Great rooftop terrace.

Had planned to visit three brewpubs in Liege, but never managed to drag myself away! Lucky to find a little table in the busy court yard/beer garden, set in a lovely historical building.
Tasted 4 excellent beers of the 6 on offer, service was friendly and efficient with good knowledge of the beers and good English spoken by the staff! Got chatting to some other friendly folk, also there for the beer and eventually ordered some food and enjoyed the rest of the evening!
Can't recommend this place enough!

After climbing the 349 steps to the view point on the city of liege, we needed some refreshment. We found our way to brasserie {c} at the bottom of the steps and took place on the (bottom) terrasse. They only served beer they brew themselves: Curtius. We tasted the 60 and it was really good (Belgians know beer ;). Since it was fathers day but me and my friend (2 mothers) were on wellness weekend we wanted to bring back a present. The brasserie usually has a shop, but it was their anniversary and with all the festivities the shop was not open. One of the (young) brewers (I presume) took the trouble of making us 2 gift packages with 2 curtius and a nice glass. My husband is a sales man (travels around) and apparently he already knew the beer and was very happy with his present.
Me and my friend we liked the beer as well so we set of to the upstairs terrace. There a nice crowd of young and semi young people was gathering and a dj was creating a good athmosphere in a very nice decor! We knew there was going to be a great party there that night!
We didn't stay, looked for a nice dinner and went back to the hotel after. If we would have been there 8 years earlier we would have partied until the sun came up!
I tip my head to the young entrepreneurs who created a beautiful place and brew a great beer!

Together with 6 Friends, we wanted to drink a beer, because the atmosphere seemed very nice. However, there were only a few 2-person tables, and they were unwilling to make an effort to put them together. They left us on our own, and were rude, so we left.

We stopped at the end of our day touring around Liège and were pleased with the beer choices and quality. We added a plate of cheeses and bread which became our dinner. Very good service and atmosphere.

We had a business meeting followed by a tour of the brewery, beer tasting and lunch. It was a nice venue for the meeting we had (horse shoe seating - 14 pax). The tour of the brewery was very informative and nice and most importantly not too long. The beers we tried were all excellent and the lunch we got was fine. If you don't know what to do in Liege, I'm sure you can spend some hours here without the slightest dissapointment. Friendly, nice and cosy. Just watch the percentage on the bottles. A taxi home is recommended...

Lovely brewery at the bottom on the ‘steps’. Great selection of beers and welcoming staff. Lovely terrace outside for sunnier days. A bit cold inside but we did visit on a freezing afternoon. Love to come back one day

We ordered the toast with mushrooms which was very tasty, but were charged double (!) the price as was indicated in the menu. 18 EUR a piece instead of 9 EUR, which is really not okay. Staff could be a bit more warm and welcoming as well. Nice location next to the stairs though.
