Most cathedrals look just like the next one. This one was a bit different. Beautiful painted ceiling and some modern stained-glass windows.

Nothing too surprising but just the great example of Christian architecture and still an active Cathedral. Don't miss the tour through the treasury. Currently undergoing renovations of the exterior structure.

The cathedral has some very impressive glass windows, with modern influences on the upper windows showing the metaphorical story of creation in 7 panels.

This church is impressive, and a must-visit when you go to Liege. the architecture is really something. Keep in mind that they're under renovation at this time.

Even though it's currently being renovated, a visit to this majestic old church is still worth the effort. Visiting the church itself is free, but it's worth paying the five-euro fee to see the Treasury as well.
