I’m often not a fan of typical tourist talks/demos, but this one was fabulous! Not only did we enjoy tasting various types of chocolate, but we were educated by a lively, entertaining, and passionate chocolatier. He himself was enough, but he also engaged the audience in conversation and used one of our group as a hands-on assistant. This is one tourist stop that I would recommend to everyone!

My wife and I had the best time at the chocolate demonstration. My wife was chosen to be the assistant chocolatier and she had a lot of fun. The demonstration is fun and informative while the chocolate was delicious. The demonstration was done in French and English and was really funny. This was one the best experiences we had in Belgium and I highly recommend a visit to Planate Chocolat.

Today, I went with my team to this location. We were with 13 people. One word: AMAZING experience. Once we were in the house, we received a very warm welcome and were guided to the atelier where we took on some protectuon for our clothes. A funny guy explained in English what we are going to do: we will make orangettes, pralines, chocolat avec des fruit secs ...
First of all, we got a nice cup of hot chocolat while the guy was explaining the origin of chocolat. Then later we went to the atelier. So nice experience. We even saw the pink chocolat: Ruby.
It was really funny. A must visit place when you are in Brussels !!!!

We were wondering around Brussel and decided to buy some chocolate to take it home so we entered first shop we saw. As we were to find out it was the best choice ever. The host is great! He showed us the space where chocolate was made and told a lot about diffrent kinds of chocolate and, of course, he treated us with it. Believe me, it's really delicious! He gave my friend a discount and he even gave me a box of truffels as a gift! We left the shop so happy and content.

Had a very good experience with ordering chocolate from Planete Chocolat. Had ordered the chocolate to be sent to a friend in Holland. She received them as planned on the morning of New Year's Eve. It was a smooth delivery and I was kept updated with my order through mail the entire time.

We had a very experience in this shop while visited Brussels, very friendly and welcoming people, high quality homemade products, delicious Belgian chocolates. We attended a very interesting chocolate workshop. And most of all very affordable prices. We’ll sure be visiting this place again next time 🤗

My wife and i went for the Sunday 4pm demonstration. I was very interesting and informative, plus the demonstration was well done. For the same price you can go to the Musee du Chocolate, but this is MUCH better (both more live info and more chocolate tasting). I would definitely recommend this if you are in the Brussels on a Sunday.

The chocolate by itself is really good, but the people make it even better. The man helping me today went out of his way to instruct in chocolate making. I wasn't able to stay for the demonstration, so he showed me the lab where people were busy with chocolate. The chocolate isn't inexpensive, but it is memorable.

We took part in a demonstration while in Brussels. I was chosen to "help" the chocolatier, and really had the best time!! We made Perlines and "cat tounges" (Which were wrapped and given to me at the end) . The chocolatier spoke in French and English, a very comprehensive demostration. Every participent had hot chcolate and 3 perlines each.

We went to the show on a saturday afternoon at 4pm on November 23rd.
Obviously, since this is not a very "touristic" time, the room was only half full (about 30 people) and thus we could fully enjoy the presentation. In the summer, it might be much more crowded...

The guy presenting was very nice! He presented in both french and english which proved to be a bit chaotic but that's kind of unavoidable when having to repeat yourself. The fact that it was chaotic was compensated by the fact that he proved to be very outgoing, making frequent jokes and appearing very lively as opposed to a very dull lecturing style.

He explained all about the machines needed to make chocolate, the different key temperatures needed to process the chocolate, how to make solid chocolate bars and pralines with the fillings. He also explained the whole chain of chocolate making by starting with the cacao tree and all the processing needed to come to the actual fluid chocolate that is directly usable to make chocolate bars. All this bundled with key dates and history.

All in all, a very nice and enjoyable experience.
