One of my favourite churches in the city. It's not the most famous and not all of the tourists find it out. Try to be one of those lucky ones!

The church is just a few meters walk away from St Catherine cathedral and and popular square. It is interesting to visit, with a nice architecture, is absolutely worth a short visit if in the area.

I've seen hundreds churches like this throughout Italy but this time see a Baroque style church in Brussels it was so weird. As I said lovely baroque facade that makes it unique, the architecture style in this city it's pretty the same for most of the churches. Even the inside is not too bad. Well worth a quick visit.

Just off St Catherines. Very happy to see a great use of one of the numerous churches in Brussels. Displays and activities to help all of today's refugees. Moving, and the church is quite nice too.

A beautiful Flemish Baroque building from 1676. It is currently being used as a camp for refugees. There are many posters explaining the problems of slavery during this time.

This lovely baroque church was consecreted in 1676. It is situated in an area not too far north of the Grand Place just beyond the Eglise Ste-Catherine. This is not simply a lovely church but also acts as a refugee centre for Afgans fleeing the troubles in their country so in addition to the beautiful artifacts of the church there... More

Shocked to find that this holy place has been occupied and desecrated by hooligans purporting ot be 'Afghan refugees'. They have erected a shanty residence in the church, and frown on visitors to the church, which they clearly now regard as THEIR territory. I cannot understand how the Belgian authorities allow this - it is clearly the 'thin end of... More

We stumbled across this church / beguinage on our first night in Brussels. We were stunned by it's beauty. We did not visit the interior of the church as it was very late. We enjoyed drinks at the La Guinguette en Ville which is directly across the street. We marveled at the structure, which we later found out was built... More
