This place is in my opinion just a square, albeit with a nice momument in the center of it.
I would not recommend taking any detours to visit this square. Pictures from google or tripadvisor should suffice.

I found this square by accident and found it to be a quiet, clean, and peaceful spot. The history was quite sad as it's the resting spot for so many. It's near a school, so plenty of students were around.
A nice place where you can sit and take a peaceful rest on a bench – in the sun if you are lucky. It is close to the shopping center and shopping street but yet quite. The architecture of the surrounding buildings is great.
Worth a few minutes of anybody's time to enjoy some peaceful contemplation away from the bustling streets of Brussels. Best enjoyed in the early evening with a fine scotch or two - Talisker Dark Storm being my recommendation.
As the name suggests, it is in honor of the martyrs. A very quiet place, usually not crowded much. Surely worth a visit. It wont take up much of your time, though you might have to walk a little to reach the place.
