Fancy and expensive.

This is one of these galleries where you can't afford anything, but it's still nice to see the architechture and feel the atmosphere of the place.

I am not sure what to make of this place, is it a mall or landmark? Regardless, it's a beautiful building and has some history behind it. If you are just strolling around Brussels, you have nothing to lose but time! If you want to pretend you are a millionaire on a day out, or nineteenth century nobility, this is... More

Yes, it may be a shopping mall, but how many shopping malls have you been in that has this many quality chocolate shops? Chocoholics heaven, but you may need deep pockets to satisfy your cravings. Lovely old building, nice atmosphere.

Near the "Grand Place" this shopping street seems to come out a of a history book with nice chocolatiers and bookshop, a little theater and a lot of restaurants in the street nearby. I like the handbag shop of Delvaux an d Neuhaus chocolatier.

It is one of the must-do when visiting Brussels, but unless you are hunting for expensive chocolate and sweets or small fancy decorations, not a place to go shopping. A walk through is done in a hart beat ot two, and then its over. Nice place with a lot of history.

An easy walk off the Grand Place, shopping with windows to look in to see it all. A great passage way to avoid the rain as well. We attended a concert at the Theatre des Galeriies, Annic Massis sang Italian melodies, last minute purchase, a very pleasant evening of song. Lovely space, good acoustics, sold out crowd. People watching is... More

I would highly recommend you go see the galeries during the day. The history of the galleries is interesting. It was first only for the bourgeois who used to pay to get in and buy whatever they need. It wasn't open for the public. Now you can visit it for free. Plus, the location of the galleries is amazing. It's... More

Very peculiar old building adapted to be kind of a shopping centre. Small but very nice atmosphere, you can have a nice lunch andfind excellent chocolate.
