The headquarters of the European Union is cramped for space around it as major road works makes this place a disaster to visit. Though the place towers around as the power center of EU.

If you are into museums, this is an excellent educational forum to learn about how the EU was formed. The people who organised this museum have really thought this through and provide an excellent experience using innovative techniques to share information. Highly recommended. As a bonus they don't charge to enter.

If you are interested in the history of the EU or its workings, you should definitely visit the Parlamentarium. The exposition is completely free of charge, including the use of the audio guide which is available in most official EU languages. There is a ton of information to be learned, a bit too much for the average visitor, but you... More

Obligatory visit to the hearts and minds of the old continent policy. Brussels is indeed the capital of Europe and a visit to the buildings housing the government and the commission is a must. Excellent exhibition spaces that sum up 60 years of history by the EEC to EU! Very charming especially the guided tour in the multilingual classroom of... More
