A bit far away from the downtown but worth the trek. Gorgeous architectural structure and a great photo op!

Atomium is a landmark symbol in Brussels that was originally constructed for the 1958 Brussel's World Fair. From the viewing platform you can also see Mini Europe. I enjoyed the reflection there.

If you are for at least 2 days in Bruxelles, it's something to visit. Mostly an unusual site to see. Ticket is 15 € plus metro rides...for a larger family it could be too expensive - as best sightseeing of the place is outside... if...More

The Atomium looks very impressive from the outside. The weather wasn’t great so the views from inside were a bit underwhelming. However there was a really great art light installation inside which I really loved and would say is worth going just to see the...More

Definitely worth a visit because it's a brilliantly-designed and conceived structure. On a clear day, the views from the top level of the building must be spectacular, but sadly I was there when it was grey and overcast. The displays in the lower levels display...More

Quite far out from the city centre (about €15) but worth it. Great architecture and not really seen anything like it. Cost wasn't criminal, around €20 I think. Looks better from the outside than it does in. Not much to really do however it was...More

We combined this with Mini Europe. The Atomium is very interesting, although there was a long queue to take the lift to the top. Easy to get here via metro from the centre too.

Ticket can be purchased on the spot from their offices. Long lines to get the lift up the top floor. Very interactive and interesting exhibition with 7levels of light shows, fun facts and history about Belgium's second-favourite landmark.
