I was recommended here by a trusted friend and as we spotted it whilst passing and there was a sign for moules frites we went in. Terrible decision! The decor was faded splendour at best... I'm all for the vintage look but here we are talking chipped marble tables, rickety and plaster hanging off the ceiling. The mussels arrived and... More

We were there on a Sunday night. there was a suspicious note in the door saying "sorry, no Credit CArds today", looked like an old one. Service was too nice. in a way that you see that they are overdoing it We order mussels. the worst mussels I have ever had in my life. small, without any taste, overcooked, it... More

The restaurant is well positioned, the food is above average and the prices are decent. The atmosphere is interesting enough, the building is nice although it suffers a bit of old age. As I said, it's not a top restaurant, it's still in the decent style. I don't understand why so many people have bad reviews.

We were drawn in by the rather grand decor but the service and food did not match... At all!! Our waiter seemed to be somewhat spaced out and incapable of remembering even the most basic requests. It wasn't even busy!! The food (steak and stew) was so tough and chewy it was almost inedible! By far the worst restaurant we... More

Horrible, especially for this place, no way you can even call this a restaurant, I have invented negative stars and it gets *****, can't get any worse. The simple fact that I'm writing about my experience is a strong indication about how bad it was, I never wrote about a bad experience before! Never in my life I've eaten such... More

The service is appallingly bad. Four of us went there mid-afternoon for a lunch and, although the restaurant was half-full, the waiter told us they were overwhelemed. He loosely pointed out an area in the restaurant for us to sit without even looking at us. In the 30 minutes we spent in this place, they didn't manage to bring us... More

This is my third time visiting Falstaff and I have to say it never disappoints, this is not a luxuary venue, nor is it a nightclub, however it is a traditional restaurant that serves great food in a great authentic location. Chill relax and enjoy your lunch or evening meal.

The food is fine in Falstaff. However, the service is the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. I ordered boiled potatoes on the side with my dinner. Instead, the waitress brought french fries. I reminded her what I ordered. By the time, she brought the potatoes, we all finished our dinner (there were six of us). When i... More
