When my family settled down in wonderful Waterloo, the Tourist Office did not only help with advise what to see but also more practical things such as "where to find a satellite TV expert". Always helpfull :-)

Good tourist office in centre, speak English. Maps, guides and suggestions. A small museum of its own. Buy a combined ticket if visiting more than one museum to save money.

Popped in here to ask about attraction tickets. Young lady on the desk was extremely helpful and explained in English the main attractions and provided a leaflet marking out directions. Also loaned us a disc to let us use the car park behind the office....More

If YOU wish to discover Waterloo & surrounding areas, start here by all means. No shortage of well presented information & maps (or they used to, we haven't been lately unless our visitors wished to). No sales pushes, just friendly help & loads of ideas.
