Enjoyable park with pretty spring flowers

We enjoyed our stroll through the park on a Saturday evening; we'd arrived in Europe that day and it was a perfect way to stay awake as we fought jet lag. The park is in the center of Nivelles, an easy walk from the Church of Saint Gertrude. We were there in late April and were impressed with the pretty flowers and trees. There were lots of presumably locals also there, and we enjoyed seeing the scenery and spending some time walking around outdoors. There was no entry fee, and we spent about 45 minutes walking around and taking photos.

Nice relaxing park for taking a stroll and to relax.

Nice relaxing park for taking a stroll and to relax. There is a kids playground at one end. Nivelles is also a nice town to spend a day in.

Small park for the locals

Nice fishing pond with trees around it. Unfortunately cars can drive through the parc. There is a playground for children and a bistro with terrace.

A nice park close t the center.

A lake, trees, large playground for babies and kids, many statues and fountains. A great place to walk around and have a refreshing drink in the tavern.

A nice variate open space

Located a few yards from the center of Nivelles, this great green area is ideal for a walk or a jogging. Also try the new swimming pool!!

Just another not so clean park...

The park the la Dodaine could be a great spot... Could...
If the town maintained it a little more often, especially regarding the trash...
It would make a nice walk or relaxing place, but there is this not so maintained, not so clean thing to it, that doesn't make it so welcoming in the end...

Nice parc

The pare itself is really nice. You can jog, kids can play. It's clean and there's a gym and a fitness center nearby. The only thing is that i had a weird encounter walking out of the parc. A guy wasn't behaving correctly for a place like that (and i'm being nice, saying it this way). However, there should be a little bit more control by policemen.

A place to go for families with kids

A nice park where you can find a playground next to a bar where parents can relax. We went there on a sunny day. This means the place was crowded and the service was not great as the waiters had way too much work ;-) But with some patience and a smile, it was a nice moment
