I'm not a fan of zoos, but I liked this park as it is quite spacious and gives the animals there all the freedom possible. It is great for a day excursion. Definitely worth visiting when in Mechelen.

We spent the whole afternoon getting up close to the nature and wildlife. There are also different species of birds. The enclosures are beautiful and well landscaped. It can be a little bit crowded but well worth it!

Love this zoo!!!! The animals are all outside and it's marvellous to walk around and getting ' to know ' them!!!! ;-) Indeed a wonderful place for a great day out!!!! A bbonus is indeed that the animals are divided by continents.... <3
