This is a nice part of Antwerp. It's a neighborhood with nice houses, a lovely square and a good range of restaurants and bars. For good asian food go to Cuichine or Bar chine. For pubs try Bar Salon at Dageraadplaats or Gitanes at Tramplein. Or café Zeezicht also on Dageraadplaats, a pub that exists already for a very long... More

Walk through Antwerp's Zurenborg district and feast your eyes on the magnificent Art Nouveau and Art Deco houses and mansions.

Only a short tram ride from the historic centre, making sure you have your invaluable 3 Euro guide to the district from the Tourist Office, an incomparable feast of singular Art Nouveau architecture awaits you, compactly arranged in 4-5 streets around the Berchem rail station. Almost every house is a gem: tilework, fenestration, mosaics, ironwork, roofs, doors...there are large and... More

A really nice neighborhood with cosy houses. A lot of young families live here and there are a lot of small restaurants. The central place of Zurenborg is where all the people gather. On thursday there is a market

Zurenborg is a district in Antwerp close to the ring. The houses are great to look at and remind us of the splendor of days gone by. If you have time and the weather is ok, you should go and look.

The Cogels Osy lei makes part of Zurenborg district but it's just outside. The zurenborg area is just ok. Look at my review on Cogels Osy lei which is one minute away in the South. It's the 5th thing to see in Antwerp.

Arrived here and first problem we encountered was the.number of the building. Booking.com had no number for the address. The actual building has no name.on it or any identifying signs. Anyway it's number 5 and right next to a small Italian street resteraunt. Looks lovely.... we were in room 5. Which was on the top floor. 60 steps up. You... More

Zurenborg may be off the beaten trail when it comes to Antwerp's attractions, but the neighbourhood deserves a few hours of one's morning or afternoon to leisurely stroll about, admiring the lovely facades of its buildings in various styles, especially in Art Nouveau but also Neo-Classical, Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance, and of course stop at one of the many cafes, bars... Stumbled into this area rather by accident but oh my god! If you like Art Nouveau architecture you'll simply love this place!
