I went to the museum to see the exhibition of Ai Wei Wei. What an interesting guy. The exhibition of Uganda was not that inspiring. The price was to high for this small exhibition. It's a pity, because i like photography a lot.

Located at the far west end of Antwerp, I ventured to FOMU from Brussels for the Ai Weiwei exhibition - Mirror - his first solo exhibition in Belgium. Designed by the artist, the exhibition presented an overview of Ai Weiwei's photography from the 1990's until...More

Nice museum for photography south of the city centre close to the river Schelde. The building also houses a movie theater and a nice coffeeshop. The galleries are on different levels and when I was visiting (Sept. 2017) there was an interesting exhibition with work...More

We were very disappointed - should have read some reviews before going. There were 2 exhibitions on, neither of which of interest to us and there isn't a core "interesting" bit with more general interest stuff. When you think about what you can see in...More

The museum is a real nice one. I can only recommend for foto lovers to come here. Check exhibitions before. The Cafe is also to recommend. It has a nice terrace. The Belgian Selleslags exhibition is really worth to go for.

The museum was undergoing some renovation works when I got there, so there was only one exhibition available. It was an interesting historical exhibition, well designed and presented. I regret that I couldn't see the entire museum.More

This is one of those museums where you have to check the ongoing exibition first, before deciding to go there or not. The 3 exibitions we saw each occupied one floor of the museum. In my opinion they could have done more with it
