Nice stop on the way to Amsterdam...

We stopped for a quick visit to Anvers on the way to Amsterdam. The port is definitely a must see, with great scenery some nice old boats.. We loved it!

Lots of different ways to visit the second largest port in Europe. Suggest to start with the docks around the MAS and gradually make your way up north to the Red Star Line Museum and the iconic building of the Port House, the final masterpiece of Zaha Hadid.

This new building will become the iconic spot in Antwerp and you cannot miss it. pedestrian access it is not ready yet but not too difficult to reach there. Close to MAS museum so organise the two visits together. Tours have been sold out for next few months...so I will come back for it. The building is spectacular and combination... More

Useful and impressive huge port. Come and take a look at how vivid and crowded can be such an important port. Also very close to city centre, another reason why to take a visit.

Antwerp port is very large. It is not used as much as it used to be but still gets some very big shipping going through it. You can find several old (disused ) cranes on the shire as well as plenty of modern day infrastructure. Worth a visit just to see its size.

Antwerp is one of the major ports of the world and served by just about every major shipping line. Taking a boat around the port is a very good experience and there are some interesting places to see. Very historical.

Went on a business trip to see the steel loading terminal. The terminal itself is very efficient with some of the best Stevedores in Europe (Kateon Natie, NHS) but this was not exactly a relaxing trip

Get a great view of this centuries-old city and walk over to the Antwerp Castle on the Shelde River. Great views!
