This Zoo has been here for a long time, but for me its still a place where i find myself very close to nature and the wonders of life. This oasis in the middle of a busy city is a must see for everyone who visits Antwerp. Bring your kids, your parents and your grandparents, because this is the ideal... More

I have been there twice. There a lots of animals in the zoo and it is quite big that I can spend my whole day. It is a nice place to visit with kids. The food inside the zoo also great. The location is good too as it just next to the train station.

I visited the Zoo after many many years. I was surprised how nice it felt again and al the changes that have been made in the past 10 years. Well organized, maintained and also all the restaurants are good. I would recommend it to everyone!

It can take about 2 to 3 hours to visit all the attractions. The zoo is very beautiful, and they take good care of it. I paid 24 EUR for the visit. It was in a cold and rainy day, so some of the animals were hiding because of the weather. But it was worth it. I suggest that you... More

The zoo, like much of the city, is being remodeled. Beautiful grounds represent civic pride and care for animals in their environment.

Animals are seemingly happy (but i'm no expert). The pens and cages are clean and so were the pathways for visitors. My toddler loved it and even had an amazing time 'communicating' with a chimp, playing peek-a-boo through the glass. I am essentially opposed to zoos... But to give my toddler the chance to see some more exotic animals in... More

With London zoo, the oldest zoo in the world. They recently made some huge changes, opened up a new restaurant with spectacular views on the zoo. A must see when visiting Antwerp!

Situated in the center of the city, right next to the central station. Not small, not really big either. Many animals - like the felines - are in spaces that are way too small and they continuously keep on running the same patterns through their cages. They do their best I guess but in the end there are animals that... More
