the station is the best representative monument in Belgium in my opinion. very good comunications whit the rest of the country or Holland, for example. the bus stops are a little bit difficult for locate, and you need time for visit the station and find your bus stop. close to the center of Amberes.

It feels as grand as Paris's station-albeit smaller. Beautiful soaring ceilings and details throughout. There is a nice cafe at the top of the stairs for a break.

This train station has been build on instructions from one of the former Belgian Kings, and has the look and feel of a Grand Palace. The new additions have brought the station well into the 21th century and make traveling to other places in Belgium and the surrounding countries easy.

A great trip, easy to take the train from Brussels to Antwerpen and when you arrive it is worth just taking a few minutes to admire the impressive architecture. The station has different floors with trains on all the floors. We bought the tickets at Brussels Midi station but did not pay attention that there are different prices depending on... More

A wonderful combination of art, architecture and engineering. I arrived, perfectly on time, on what appeared like any other clean, modern platform. Then, following others up the escalators, I realised we were on the lowest of five levels, with trains on the first, third and fifth, and wide walkways with shops and restaurants in between. Above it all soars a... More

We took the train from Brussels to Antwerpen for a day trip (30€ return tickets for 2 adults) and we were quite impressed by the central station. Really spectacular! If you walk out you have a shopping mile right in front of you :)

This stations is so beautiful it's worth waiting before going to your hotel just to hang around for a bit. Built in 1905, it looks like a museum.
