Amazing Escape Room with very authentic atmosphere! My Partner and I have played our fair share of Escape Rooms back in Germany, but this one still stood out. The gamemaster was friendly and helpful, just the right amount of help to make it in time. Great riddles, an old school type of room with a lot of locks, not easy to solve but also not chaotic or illogical in any way.

We went here with 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 8). We had an amazing time and all of us enjoyed the 1 hour. A very good mixture of puzzles to solve. Some were difficult but with some smart clues we were able to get them. A very good story. Thanks to Steven for a great time.

My first time doing an escape room and I loved it. Very friendly host, great puzzles and fantastic atmosphere. The theme and story fit really well with the surroundings. Would definitely recommend. Also easy access as is right next to Den Haag Holland Spoor station.

This escape room is really lovely. The owner told us he was working on this room for almost a year, and that is really noticeable. You can really see and experience that is made with a lot of love. It's all in the details, the location, setting, music, puzzles, story, everything fits together. I even had a yaw dropping moment after solving the first puzzles, you really step into a story and a different world. The room is not too hard but there are some though puzzles in there. Please let me know whenever you have a second room!

Amazing game! We had a blast! Very challenging and exciting! Great host, very helpful! We highly recommend it, one of the most entertaining activity in The Hague.

So far the best escape room experience. We loved the atmosphere, the design and details in the room, the story and the puzzles. We were only 2 people, so we got 6 extra minutes. In the end we managed without them, but maybe because we had a good day and everything ran smoothly. We had a lot of fun and definitely visit again if you build another room :).

This was our first escape room and the experience was fantastic!
Very friendly welcome with a nice introduction story, the setting of the room was stunning and the atmosphere when finding the way out is incredible.
We are still sharing our experience with great enthousiasm, because this is a must do for group activities or teambuildings.

Visited with some colleagues and had a great time. It was the first escape room any of us had tried, and we all enjoyed it way more than expected. The pacing and puzzles were spot on.

When we were speaking to the (very friendly) gentleman who runs Operation Exit, he said it took 2 years to design all the puzzles and open the room. I can certainly see where that time went. The rooms has a fun and quality feel to it, it does feel as if you are in a mysterious Baron's mansion at times. The puzzles are imaginative, and challenging, but not frustrating, the music enhances the atmosphere, and the backstory is very engaging. All in all, a very enjoyable and entertaining escape room that I would definitely recommend.

Is it good for birthday parties for kids?

Absolutely, we welcome multiple children's birthday parties each week. The recommended age is 9 years and older. We do require at least one accompanying (and paying) adult per team. If you make a booking for a children’s party, then please mention the average age of the children in the comments-section. This allows us to adjust the difficulty-level of the escape room (don’t worry, we’ll keep it challenging : )

Hi Philipp, absolutely! There is very little language involved in the puzzles. And... we even have a German version! Just ask for the German version when you make your booking, and we'll make it happen (-:
Hi! We're coming tomorrow with my 13 y.o. daughter and her 6 friends of the same age. Can they do it themselves or should/must they be accompanied by an adult? Also, it is suitable for English speakers, right? Their Dutch is not brilliant yet. Thanks!

Hallo Nadia,
The Mansion is een escape room die geschikt voor alle leeftijden. We vragen per groep echter wel om minstens één deelnemer van 18 jaar of ouder. En als het de bedoeling is dat de kinderen alle puzzels oplossen, bijvoorbeeld bij een verjaardagsfeestje, dan kan dit vanaf ongeveer 10 jaar. Ook bij een verjaardagsfeestje vragen we trouwens om minstens een begeleidende ouder.
