We arrived at the golden hour and this was one 9f the first things we saw in Hague. It was straight from the fairytale. Worth to visit and relax in the small park for couple of minutes.

This is one of my favorite places to sit outside when it's warm and sunny. I always bring my friends/family here when they visit and sit over the edge. Also a nice place to people watch!

Hofvijver is a beautiful lake next to Binnenhof in Central Den Haag. The whole area surrounding the lake is stunning and it is worth spending some time there to take in the incredible views, there are many photo opportunities to be had from Lange Vijverberg of Hofvijver and the Houses of Parliament in the background. We visited the lake several times during our time in Den Haag, it is a wonderful part of the city.

At first glance the Court pond (Hofvijver) looks like an artificial rectangular shallow pond serving to beautify the setting of the houses of parliament. However, it originally was and to some extent still is a natural dune lake. Until around 1800 the castle of the counts of Holland (now parliament) was encircled by moats and lake. The moats were filled up, but the lake wasn't. The lake is still fed by the Haagse beek (Hague brook) and linked with other dunelakes.

This is the heart of the museum district and the soul of the city, with much historical significance. But aside from that, it's very beautiful, and walking around it is a must on a visit to this city.

We walked around the area and walked here too. This is a nice little walk around water, there are ducks and nice buildings to look at. There are some benches to sit on I think so you can relax and watch everything. The place didn't really have any litter although the water did seem to have a bit in around the edge. It is worth visiting this area and have a nice walk

We visited the Parliament and government buildings and the surrounding areas and wandered around the river. This is a beautiful spot, quite picturesque. The views are wonderful and it's a very clean place too. The architecture is fantastic. Very enjoyable.

A nice walk along the river to view the Prime Minister’s office and other buildings along it.
A nice path with statues on the side, very peaceful and tranquil.
A grand experience of serenity in the city and well recommended.
