If you're not into photo-taking, then just relax on one of the benches along the shady Lange Vijverberg to feel the sense of calm and serenity, or simply wonder at why the statue of Jantje (Little John) is pointing to the Binnenhof. After all, this is the area where The Hague was founded that is now Netherland's seat of power.
