Needed a place to sit on the Plein (square) so she where the specifically visiting this bar. Service was slow, staff a bit inexperienced and even clumsy. An extra member of staff and a more logical process in taking orders and serving drinks would’ve surely make customers more happy and create more revenue from drinks. Staff was taking orders and walking in an out of the bar to the terrace with drinks. This took very long. There should’ve been someone walking on the terrace only assigned with taking orders, in stead of operating with a very illogical system. Long story short: we only had one drink, waited very long before we could get the bill and left.

Had an early evening meal here with friends and despite being busy the staff found us a suitable table and were very attentive throughout our stay. An excellent wine menu and a good collection of schnaaps and beers complemented a small but outstanding traditional range of food, which included well priced guinea fowl, wild venison and an Iberian Cutlet (to die for !). An equally great venue for open air lunch out in the Square behind the Prime Ministers office or for a traditional longer dinner in the evening.
