We had managed to reserve tickets for the viewing of working palace Noordeinde. Just in line, 3 sharp and implacable checks, and then inside. Particularly well maintained, radiantly fresh, many types of spaces, use of color, furniture and especially lots of white. A real Dutch Ballroom, it's more like a long wide corridor. All well documented, you really need the headphones to get all the information.

Not open to visitors, it is located in the city center.
Compared to other royal families in Europe he is quite miserable, although he makes a good impression. In front is the statue Willem van Oranje, known for leading the Dutch War of Independence.

The palace is open 3 weeks in the summer to visit. We managed to make a reservation on a Sunday. Standing in line is covered. Ticket is scanned, ID check, do not bring a large bag or return liquids otherwise. Inside, it's impressive. Less imposing than in other countries but the Dutch has something. Take the audio tour because you will get an explanation and learn and see a lot from it.

Paleis Noordeinde is nice to look at, especially with the impressive statue of William of Orange in front of it (commissioned by King Willem 2). However it is in use as the work palace of the King and cannot be visited. More interesting perhaps are the Palace Gardens behind it, which are largely open to the public.

It is in the street and not open for public. However you stand there, get to know the history and take pictures. that's what makes it worth visiting. After all knowing history a palace at its gates is really interesting.

It is the King’s place of work. The palace is the property of the State and was placed at the disposal of the head of state by Act of Parliament. The palace complex also includes the Royal Stables, and the palace gardens contain the Royal Archives.
The oldest section of the palace dates from before 1533, when the steward of the States of Holland, Willem van de Goudt, had the medieval farmhouse converted into a spacious residence. It has been a palace of the Royal House since 1609 when the state of Holland purchased and presented it to William of Orange’s widow as a gift in recognition of her husband’s service to the Dutch nation.
In 1813 after the fall of King Louis Bonaparte, Prince Willem returned to the Netherlands, where he was proclaimed Sovereign Prince. The Constitution of the time decreed that the State must provide a summer and a winter home for the sovereign. Noordeinde Palace was the winter home.
On the other side of Paleis Noordeinde you can enjoy some peace and quiet in the Palace Garden. It’s a small park and admission is free. Just next to the park you’ll see the Royal Stables where the horses and coaches of the Royal House are kept.

This is a lovely little royal palace in a beautiful part of the Hague, but, alas, due to its size and the fact that some royal family members actually live and work here, it's not open to the public.
Nevertheless, it's a nice palace to walk by.

At the end of a busy shopping street is a very pretty (modest) palace, which is the working residence of royalty. Very little visible security and the king will waive at you if he is driving through the gate.

Since the palace is not open for visitors, you will only get to take a photo of the exterior. The palace is only open to the public for a couple of weekends in August. Other than that, there is not much to see here. There is the palace gardens which you can visit, with the entrance from the back part of the palace.
