This area is focused mainly on the loads of tourists that visit every year. You can find what you want, but the prices are above average and if the weather is good it can be really busy out here. Just a little walk to the northern part of the beach here will find you a better spot ;)

This is a great place to come for a view of the majestic Scheveningen beach and the Kuhrhause. The pier has recently been refurbished and there are lots of little eateries and places to get a drink before you go for a bungee jump. ;-)

Many nice and quite affordable restaurants in the beach promenade. Busy during winter weekends. Im not sure these restaurants are open winter monday to thursday? Good idea to do some walking ect outdoor activities and have some lunch.

Although it can be frightfully cold and windy in the winters, Scheveningen beach is a wide beach with plenty of activities and places to eat. The Kurhaus adds quite a charm to the sea and beach.

I had the best of luck to visit Haag pier and promenade on a sunny day. It didn't feel half as cold thanks to the sunshine. The pier and promenade were very picturesque and I took some awesome photos. If you want a nice backdrop to your pictures in Haag, this is definitely the place. It was nice to walk... More

No way to see the sea from the road anymore. All is full of buildings and condos. But when you found the way to the beach side, than it is perfect. Waves, sun, rain , wind and everything. It is now a place for families with limited budgets.

I caught the Tram 1 near Peace Palace on a mediocre weather wise day BUT still enjoyed it. The promenade is so long I didn't walk the whole length. Pier was interesting & the sea was rough this day. Noticed the Ferris wheel & Bungy Jump out there. This place is very popular with the locals (on a good day)... More

An easy place to reach by tram 11 though can be very busy. The pier has a food hall and there are numerous restaurants available. At the end of the pier is the big wheel giving views across the coast and the North Sea where many ships approaching Rotterdam were lined up. Beside the wheel is a tower for the... More

Ths is one of the ugliest places in the country. It seems completely messed up. Nothing wrong with the beach, but the boulevard is a disaster where restaurant and tourist shops are trying to lure you inside with their 'cheap'offers. Should be a bit more classy and in tune withe the aspirations of the Hague as a true international city.... More
