At the end of January, we were lucky to get on a free tour of The Hague. To begin with, the city seemed gloomy to us, but our guide Ronald was able to completely change our attitude to the city and show The Hague from a completely different point of view. Also Ronald has very good sense of humor and tell us about some holland staff. Not only he did the tour, which lasted 2 hours, go very quickly, our guide also helped us find the best places for food, shopping and suggested where you can see the most important masterpieces of The Hague!

I along with my friends joined the Free Walking Tour with Ronald in The Hague. We started our tour from Mauritshuis then followed at the square where William of Orange statue is built. Ronald explained to us the details of history and how William of Orange was the forefather of The Netherlands, explaining the minute details why the dog is there on Statue. He also explained to us the surrounding building and its significance. We proceeded to the prime minister's office and to the royal summer palace. He was well versed with the history of the city and had detailed knowledge about the places, be it the historical hotel where people ruling Indonesia use to live or how it had an entrance for the horse carriage. Explaining the famous Hague bluffs with a statue. It was a two-hour-long trip, really enjoyable with Ronald's wit and humor. The best part of the trip was Standbeeld Haagse Harley and how he represents the divide in the society.
Ronald was an extremely knowledgeable and very humble guide, with loads of loads of information. He covered almost all the major attractions in just two hours. I would strongly recommend people to take walking tour trip with Ronald.

I loved it!! We had lots of fun during the tour. Oskar was a very good story teller, was very enthusiastic and really knew what he was talking about! It was very nice to have some inside information about the city and learn some more about The Hague's history. The tour was a nice length, not too much walking and overall I had a really nice experience. Definitely would recommend!

We went to the Peace Palace before joining this tour, discovering gems of shops and bistros on the way there. It was a hot day to juggle the usual tourist gears and jump from shade to shade, but Ronald, our guide, always waited until everyone was within hearing range and told stories about the sights, surroundings and their backgrounds that showed us the Dutch spirit and history reflected in the choices of the royals to the comic sculpture Harry around the Boterwaag at the Grote Markt.
We realized the significance of the less obvious landmarks like the unnamed Dandy sculpture, the Old Church and the Gold Weighing Station too, for the above reason. When we went back to the city the second time a few days later, I could relate to Ronald's explanations much better and could plan our day better based on his tour.
Oh, the various ethnic foods are truly great in this city, retaining their authenticity with good prices.

We had a very nice tour with our guide on a cloudy Thursday afternoon. We got to learn a lot about the city, saw beautiful buildings and got to taste typical Den Hague sweets. We can highly recommend taking the tour.

I had a great introduction to the city of the Hague by Michel this Saturday. He was enthusiastic and provided enough information about the city's history within the wider context of Dutch history, enriching his stories with jokes, anecdotes, and images. I would highly recommend both the tour and the guide!

Had an incredible experience with our tour guide Neil! He was very engaging and spontaneous, making every moment of the 2.5-hour walking tour so enjoyable.Neil's wealth of knowledge and passion for the city were evident as he shared fascinating stories and historical insights at every turn.
Neil took his time to ensure we did not miss a single detail, making the tour worth every minute. If you are looking to explore the city in a fun and informative way, we recommend Neil as a tour guide.

I recommend this walking tour for anyone who wants to know a bit more about my city, The Hague. I joined a friend because I was curious about what a tour guide could tell more then I already know about the city I love. Ronald is a great guide, although he is not originally from The Hague, I am happy to say that he taught me a few things I did not know. He has lived here for 40 years, loves The Hague and next to architecture and art, he has a lot of anecdotes and a great sens of humor. He speaks English very well and is also very interested in other cultures and countries. He also made lovely a picture of the group that will be posted on the FB. This guide tour is free but of course you can give something to show your appreciating at the end of the tour. I just mention this because I was not prepared for that, as I don't have much cash on me nowadays. Well that maybe an incentive to take this tour another time and be prepared :)

Ronald is truly passionate for what he does. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic he keeps you interested through the tour. He makes sure the group stays together. His English is flawless and his tour is the best way to efficiently see all the landmarks on The Hague’s City center in a day. He gives great tips on where to eat and what to do.

I wanted to share my experience of exploring The Hague with Niels as my tour guide. Niels was simply the best! His extensive knowledge about the city's history, culture, and hidden gems made the tour incredibly enriching. He was not only informative but also extremely kind, making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged. Niels brought a youthful energy and enthusiasm to the tour, which was infectious, and his great sense of humor kept us entertained throughout. His young age and passion for The Hague were evident, and he went out of his way to answer all our questions and tailor the tour to our interests. Niels's dedication and love for the city made our visit truly memorable. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Beste Wim,
Nee wij geven de tour alleen in het Engels. Mensen komen uit alle windstreken om onze tour mee te lopen. Vandaar.
Voor een Nederlandse tour zou ik toch verwijzen naar de VVV.
Veel plezier in Den Haag!
