Review of Coolsingel 207. Very rude member of staff made to apologise by manager. Spent all week on holiday and have met with not but friendliness, not in this restaurant. Don't go.

Take the free walking tour great way to see the city if you have a short visit. About an hour trip on the train from Amsterdam.

I was in Rotterdam mid August and needed information in how to get to my hotel and how to get around the city. Staff at the information desk helped me with the right tickets and to find the way.

The staff were very helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. We also went downstairs to the Discover Rotterdam Exhibition. The multi media display was excellent in giving you a brief overview of the city - past, present and future. There is also a gift shop.

Visiting the information point at Coolsingel has been very helpfull en interesting! The staff was super friendly and gave us a lot of tips, based on our personal interest! Also, it is worth going downstairs; to the Discovery! A small exposition, where you learn about the past and the future of Rotterdam, in an interactive manner. Last, we got our Rotterdam Welcome Card here. Great value!! Don't miss this place.

We stumbled across the tourist information office because of a problem with the metro station. Instead of purchasing the OVE cards we decided to try the RET app and purchased 4 day tickets at 8 euros each, we received barcode's to use on metro, tram and bus services. Unfortunately these didn't work. The metro staff didn't have a clue why they weren't working and were extremely unhelpful at this time. They sent us to this tourist information office to see if they could help. We met a lovely lady, her English was superb. We explained to her our problem and she went absolutely further and beyond to help us. She called customer services to see if they could help us, unfortunately they weren't sure either. She then took us into the metro station and explained the situation again to a member of staff- basically that we purchased the product and weren't getting use of it. She arranged with the metro staff member tickets to the cube houses which we wanted to see and also to the Rotterdam ahoy that night and back to our hotel again. She was absolutely amazing, couldn't have done enough for us. Her customer service was top notch and we can't thank her enough for what she did for us. I'm so sorry that I didn't catch her name, we then seen her again in the tourist information in central station but we were rushing to catch the train for the airport. I hope she see's this, and her boss too as this girl deserves a BIG raise. Hahaha. Again thank you very much for your help. from your friends in Northern Ireland, The Pyne Family.

We went to this Tourist Information Office to ask about how to get to a certain sight, and the staff member had no idea what it was, instead trying to sell us some boat tours going on "special prices"! Absolutely hopeless. We asked several questions and made it clear about we wanted but to no avail. Unfortunately the impression we received was that the staff here were more interested in selling tickets to various tours and excursions, rather than providing useful information to tourists. Very disappointing.

The staff was very friendly. Many maps (paper and digital) are available. One can buy souvenirs and book things.

Nice place to get information about places in the center. You can get a map and a brochure with working hours of museums and other tourist attractions.
