Rotterdam has several parks which are not huge but are convenient and peaceful with enough amenities, such as this one. There is water and trees and some plants and play areas for children. Perfect for families and anybody else who would like some relative peace and quiet. We enjoyed a walk along this park which we found quite by chance.

Was apartment hunting for daughter who is studying in Rotterdam in the fall, and after looking at many places in Rotterdam, this lovely linear park with paths, play areas, and a long pond, etc made me choose an apartment nearby for her. The homes and neighbourhood adjacent are noticeably more upscale undoubtedly in part because of this wonderful urban park. It's not large but it is a wonderful alternative to just walking down the sidewalk to go north-south through this western part of the city to catch either a tram or metro into other parts of the city east-west.
