Rotterdam is a very walkable place. Be it through the Lijnbaan shopping street or by the harbourside (both the new and old harbour) or right through Museumpark, you will be awed by the architecture and atmosphere.
The city is approximately 20 mins from the Airport, Bus 33 takes you there for a roughly 4 euros and runs quite frequently.
