I have bought a ten hour trip across the Netherlands and one of the cities in this tour was Rotterdam. The weather was changing, windy, but I enjoyed this place, especially the harbor and the skyscrapers.

We took a day trip to Rotterdam from Amsterdam and did a walking tour of the city and harbor. We were impressed with the hodgepodge architectural buildings that were whimsical, but did not particularly co-exist with one another in a sympathetic capacity. They could each...More

Just a quick pass through really but it was like all built up high rise buildings everywhere was on a coach trip. So really spent no time there.

I was a student at Erasmus in 2013 when I had a chance to see Rotterdam in a different perspective. The walking tour gave me and my fellow colleagues at the University a chance to understand the City's current urban design, and how the IHS...More

Rotterdam is a very interesting city to explore with lots of new interesting architecture and some older buildings which did survive WW2. Easy to walk around, just be careful of the bikes and trams. Plenty of shopping and restaurants downtown to select from. Glad to...More

Rotterdam is a very walkable place. Be it through the Lijnbaan shopping street or by the harbourside (both the new and old harbour) or right through Museumpark, you will be awed by the architecture and atmosphere.

We visited Rotterdam for a day and would probably have benefitted from a 2 day stay. The city is quite spread out and to see all the attractions in a day is very difficult. We walked around 10 miles in the day and still missed...More
