The Frans Lanting exposition due until the beginning of September is absolutely amazing and a must see. Splendid pictures of landscapes and animals from all 7 continents.

First off: I love the photos of the Frans lanting exposition. It was however not great due to poor lighting (lots of shades of fellow visitors). The other 3 expositions where waste of time, and did not caught my attention.

Nicely places exposition of the famous photographer. Just not the pictures, but interviews of his trips and works, they also had a collection of his books and equipment.

On the south side of Rotterdam (a booming neighborhood full of catchy restaurants and the art house cinema), you will find the Photography Museum, housed in a modern building. I went there several times before, but now I went for the exhibition by Frans Lanting, which was very good. Both old and new work alike. The staff in the museum... More

Amazing photography gallery. There is interactive educational section, nicely made. Interesting exhibition, old and new in the same building.

Arrived at about 1 pm. Took metro to Wilhelminaplein. Walk is about 10 minutes. Entry euro 10. Very unfriendly receptionist. Could not even be bothered to show you the way. They were refurbishing the entry area. I spent 10 minutes there, which worked out 1euro per minute! Exhibitions were not very well presented. OK I assume because they were changing... More

Visited with our teen daughters as the elder one is studying photography for her GCSE and it's a hobby of mine. We spent much longer here than I thought we would. The temporary exhibits were American neon diner signs by day and night, a chap who used only Polaroid and photographers who used interesting techniques in their work. We really... More
