The museum has an interesting collection of expressionist paintings. We particularly liked Armando's paintings on the top floor. However, the museum is quite small (our visit lasted around 30 minutes), so I recommend to combine it with another museum nearby, especially if you have the Museumkaart as we do.

This is a small museum in a beautiful building with large windows. You will discover pictures by Chabot. The pictures are very beautiful. The staff is very nice! Totally worth your visit.

What a total waste of time. The collection is very small and hardly interesting. We really had expected to see and learn at least a little more about bauhaus. We had to pay €2 per person on top of the standard admission (we used our Museum Jaarkaart), but couldn't understand what we paid for. It felt like a rip-off and to top it all off, the staff were quite unfriendly. Best to avoid this place altogether and visit the adjacent and fantastic Huis Sonneveld instead.

When we visited the Chabot Museum, there was an exhibition by and over Armando, the Dutch painter. Lots of paintings by this artist and also pictures of him from famous photographers and a short film about his life. For architecture lovers: the building is worth visiting! Good for a one hour visit. Nice staff.

This is a very small museum that has paintings and sculptures by the Dutch artist Chabot along with several of his contemporaries. Located in the museum district it is worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

An intimate art experience, some exquisite pieces beautifully curated. Captures a moment in art history that weaves in seamlessly with the significance of the surrounding museums, specifically the Sonneveld House and the Bauhaus collection at the Boijmans (only available until May 26, 2019). The Chabot sculptures and Kandinsky paintings were particular highlights.

Not only is this an interesting museum about the Dutch painter Henk Chabot but it also focusses on Expressionism. A very important time in art history. The museum is also part of one of the park villas which are worth inspecting closely. Architecture in a modern form!
