Historic stadium within easy reach of downtown, has its own tram stop. Our guide did not speak English which was a shame as another family from Ireland were on the tour with me and the kids looked a bit bored. Other guides, that we bumped into ,could speak English so you may get lucky. You get a good look around the stadium and museum so still worth it if your footy mad, like me.

Really enjoyed visiting this stadium! Was in the away end so was a little confusing how to get in but once we did it was a great experience. Can imagine the atmosphere is superb for a league game. A little bar available for away fans and it is really cheap.

an iconic football stadium. beautiful architecture. And yet, dear visitor of Rotterdam, don't visit. The stadium isn't in walking distance in an unattractive part of Rotterdam. Google a few pics and use your time better to visit other places. This city has much more to offer.

It is not the biggest stadium I ever saw in my life. But it looks great! We had an excursion over this stadium and it was very interesting to see VIP seats, room where press conference is usually kept, dressing room for football players, tunnel which players follow before the game starts, museum of stadium history with all their exhibits. Shortly - amazing place.

A trailblazer stadium of its time when it was built in the 1930s, this football amphitheatre is home to the 1971 European Cup winners Feijenoord. There's talk of replacing it with a more modern ground, but the Club's fans retain a strong affection for the old 'Tub' as it's nicknamed, and it's easy to see why.Its stands, of uniform height, tower right around the pitch, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere when full of home fans by helping to amplify the noise of support for the team, while there's a clear view of the action on the park from all around the ground, due to the lack of obstructive support pillars. This design was revolutionary in its day and was the forerunner of other great grounds, including Barcelona's Camp Nou. The day I visited was an Open Day before the start of the 2015-2016 season and as I left the ground after an hour, despite the very wet weather that day, it was still filling as more supporters arrived to see newly signed players landing on the pitch by helicopter. Later that afternoon, local radio stations were advising that the ground had reached maximum capacity. Easy to reach from the city centre by tram and bus, and with its own railway station, this is one ground foreign supporters should make a point of visiting when in Rotterdam, and is one of the city's prime attractions.

This is a pre war Footbal/Soccer stadium of one of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands. Great to watch the game, but ugly and old for everything else. If you're not Dutch and you don't have a heart for Feyenoord it will be a complete waste of your time. Also in a horrible part of Rotterdam.

Great atmosphere! Best fans in the world. Always behind their team. Even after a big defeat against rivals PSV the stadium was packed and the crowds were cheering!

Went for a friendly game.
View from seats fine though would not want to be in first few seats in away in(plastic screen).
Three flights os stairs to away end. Didn't seen any disabled access.
Free travel on tram 23 with match ticket.
Entrance to away end at railway station

convenient venue for such concerts like this: it is easy to find, there are acceptable car parking solutions, seating is OK-ish, but the bad news is that (seated in 'vak U') the quality of the sound was extremely bad, SOund was so distorted by (probably) being closed in between all the concrete structures that we heard not much more than the bass drum and the highest tones, all mid tones seemed to have been filtered away. For me, never a seated place again, maybe the standing places in the field are better.....

has anyone been an away fan in the home seats during an international here - given 5% of the capacity is all thats allocated to the away fans for an upcoming Nations League match and i probably wont be able to get one of those, I'm contemplating buying a ticket amongst the dutch fans
If it was a feyenoord match i wouldnt risk it but I'm wondering if it will be safe and friendly for an international
would appreciate hearing form anyone who has done it

Is section C in De Kuip safe for foreigners to watch the game?

Yes, very quiet place to staying
To park in the parking garage, do you have to have a ticket to a match? We’re hoping to attend the match on 21.3.2019 (Oranje v Belarus) and just want to see when and how long we can park there. Thank you!

You should take the tram and park elsewhere. Carpark Boston-Seatlle Q-parking at the Wilhelminaplein and than take tram 12 or tram 23. They will stop at the stadion
Do i need to book ticket to see stadium?

You can book a stadiumtour via the official website of the stadium.
Better still is buying a ticket. You can buy a ticket from the Feyenoord website. The season starts this August so hopefully you're in luck.

What are the rules about what you can carry in to a game? Are backpacks allowed?

Not a strange question at all. I am not opposed to being checked. I was simply wondering if backpacks were allowed to be carried in. I found a nice lady while walking in to ask. Thanks anyways.
