I've been to most of the known Dutch museums: Rijksmuseum, Kroller-Müller, van Gogh, etc. I would rank this one at the same level. I'd visit this one even if it was just for Bosch's "Pedlar". The museum is overwhelingly Dutch and Flemish in content, but the Magrittes and Dalis are worth it by themselves. The works are nicely displayed in... More

The Boymans has been around for ages, but keeps reinventing itself. Housed in a beautiful, stylish building, there is a lot of exhibition space. From the baffling wardrobe to the staircases: everything is admirable. A number of famous works by Van Gogh and Rembrandt are paired with contemporary works and exhibits. Recommended!

Large art collection contain everything from old masters to modern classics. Also some nice furniture. The museum garden is also nice to visit in the summer. Easy to combine with the other museums at the same square.

It is a great museum and a great experience despite it is not widely known as for instance Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. There are works of artists across different ages and from different countries. Just as an indication, as far as I remember in random memory remembers, just naming some painters I remember: Degas, Picasso, Van Gogh, Picasso, Bosch,... More

World-class art, but still could be done in 4-5 hours, so not overwhelming. Not to be missed if you go to Rotterdam

Such a great museum. It's not so big so you can visit it in 2-3 hours. Everything well arranged, with very good explanations. Absolutely worthy.

I hadn't heard of this place but was really glad to go. From the moment you arrive and hang your coat on the fantastic and very artistic coat-system you see things to make you smile and think about. The fashion exhibition was brilliant. So many unique and interesting pieces. The museum has something for everyone and it will interest all... More

Most enjoyable with diverse works of art and design displayed to great effect and enhancd by an absorbing commentary. The collection displayed does not overwhelm you. it leaves you just on the right side of wanting more. Its setting is also very attractive.
