    Piece of art
This bridge is worth a visit for sure. While walking around the city you will find many interesting structures, but the Erasmus Bridge fears no opponent. It's so big you might struggle to fit it in a single picture. Despite the lack of activities nearby, you can sit on the benches that can be found on the banks to relax and take some nice pictures.

    Modern Design
We were docked at the cruise port so was ideal to view this impressive structure that spans the north and south of the city. We walked over in the daytime to the Markt and drove over when we returned from Central station following our visit to Amsterdam. The bridge has also featured in the Red Bull Air Race .

    Easily recognisable
This elegant bridge is easily recognisable against the Rotterdam skyline and complements the local architecture in this very modern city. We approached it walking along the Maas towards the Markthal, there were plenty of benches to sit and admire it, and an outdoor exercise class taking place in it's shadows! I imagine it would be fabulous lit up at night, but unfortunately we were only there for a few hours. Nothing to do with the bridge but there is a fclean, free WC underneath the flyover, something we struggled to find during our visit.

    Modern Bridge
The Erasmus Bridge is one of the main bridges to take you from one side of the city to the other. There are walkways, cycle routes and cars and trams using the bridge too. There are some amazing views from the bridge.

    Modernity in Rotterdam
Erasmusbrug has become an icon of Rotterdam. Apart from functional use, it adds a lot of aesthetic value to a city of modernity and innovation. Tourists may want to cross the bridge and experience Europe's largest port in their own eyes.

    Bridging the gap
This bridge is an exquisite marvel to look at and walk across. The footpaths are wide so you don’t feel as if the traffic is right next to you. It doesn’t take too long to walk across but the views of the city are perfect from both sides. If you have the time I recommend visiting it.

    I'd love to cross it
I think this is the most iconic symbol of the city. I didn't really know Rotterdam before visiting it and except Erasmus, this is the first thought I had when I heard Rotterdam during a conversation or a News. I just saw it from far, but I'd like to cross it in order to see the strength of the wind.

    An icon
We enjoyed our long walk around the city. We started from Blaak then the old harbor then the pier area from the old bridge to the park and Erasmus Bridge. It was a great way to appreciate this part of Rotterdam. Wished we saw it at night too

The bridge is right next to the cruise ship terminal where our ship docked for the day. We took a water taxi and went underneath on our way into the city but took a tram over it when returning. The bridge is actually quite wide and has space for road traffic, trams, cycles and pedestrians - it’s best viewed from the river to fully appreciate the modern design.

Such a majestic sight to see. Perhaps best seen at night. Unfortunately due to corona regels and the avondklok, we didn't get to see it at night. At 9pm,it wasn't fully dark yet. Still, even in the morning, it was such a beauty to see. Definitely looking forward to visiting it again and making some night shots.

Spectacular firework display here on New Years Eve.
Shame that all the hotels and bars in the area seemed to be open to private guests only. Nowhere to buy drinks to celebrate the New Year in the vicinity.
