What a beautiful church, a must see. The organ is something, very large. Wish I could have heard it play.

My husband and I took the train from Rotterdam to check out Gouda for a couple of hours and found this church. The windows are beautiful and it is worth the small entrance fee. I really enjoyed stopping here.
The town centre is compact and so easy to stroll around in a morning or afternnoon. Don't forget Achter de Kerk and the back entrance to the museum... you can sit and relax in the garden.
Beautiful outside. To visit the church you have to pay. If you don't want to pay (against the feelings of many people, God's home?) you don't get far. Only the door. Pitty
