We appreciated the carillon and moving puppet show on the side wall. An impressive building in a lovely town square.

Centrally located in the market area of Gouda this is a short but interesting visit. Beautifully restored this City Hall is still used as a function and conference venue. Historic elegance meets modern day usefulness. Exceptional value for money.

Fascinating and beautiful building, be sure to see the King come out when the bells chime every half hour...looks like a regal cuckoo clock! Inside is worth a look, very splendid public rooms and worth alook for the modest cost of 2.50 euros.

The Stadhuis sits in the center of the plaza of historic Gouda. While you visit the small businesses circling it, be in place for the dancing cuckoo clock figures which will come out on the hour. If you can't tell which side, ask someone ahead.

Old city hall. Really cheap 2.50, little guide book and it's a self guided tour. Lots of history and original featured. Still used as a wedding venue and for meetings. Looks really impressive and had a quaint clock with chimes and moving figures on the side of the building.

Gouda has a beautiful city hall and its smack right in the center of town. Sit down and enjoy some Dutch hospitality and a coffee, at any of the restaurants lining the outside of the square.

we made a visit to this beautiful city last week-end.Although it was a week-end,it was not crowded.By our chance, we came across with a wedding ceromony !!!!!! a master piece of architecture !!! My recommendation is that you visit Gouda on a Thursday to see the cheese market which we were not able to see...

The City Hall of Gouda is a building where the inhabitands of this city are very proud of. Especially couples who are getting to be married are very fond of this place. Tourists enjoy themselves in many ways in this wonderful old City.
