These are pleasant and peaceful gardens to walk around, larger than you think it is initially, though you can modify your walk to suit the amount of time you wish to spend. The women in the office, where tickets are sold and there is a small gift shop, are absolutely lovely.

I’ve been to much better gardens for cheaper price. A lot of the paths were closed and the glasshouse wasn’t impresive.

We followed the signs from the town centre which were very useful. The Gardens are lovely, easy to walk round and to follow the plan. Interesting plants in the greenhouse. Children got a bit bored though.

This is a pleasant botanical garden right in the middle of the city, a place to retreat to and just wander around, enjoying the many colours and scents. There are tropical indoor areas with some very impressive butterflies, as well as outdoor areas with a wide variety of plants.

This isn't an area you can really get lost in, but the admission doesn't cost much either. It is a good place to come and center yourself, which in itself is worth plenty.

There is the minor downside of all the text being in Dutch, but if you're not looking for a lesson in botany, it's fine.

A smallish botanical garden, charmingly presented. We were lucky that there was a quirky art display and Indonesian food stalls. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit!

A calm place for an interesting stroll to see a good range of plants. This is not a garden like RHS ones in England, nevertheless it was worth a visit. Very helpful staff who spoke English. Some good projects going on.

Good price value (4€ entrance fee), nice and calm atmosphere and a great variety of plant species are definitely good reasons for going there. A small drawback is that most of the info about the plants is only available in dutch.

Cheap to visit and lovely staff who had good English. Great variety of plants and trees from across the world outside and in the tropical greenhouses. Even have a place for endangered plants which you could go into (just don't touch!), fantastic to see them trying to save the species. It's set up really nice, so it's a lovely place to walk around and there's places to sit for some quiet time too. Loved the "treehouse" platform.

Botanical garden linked to Delft Tech.
Cola and Rubber, Cucumber and Ginger trees: it's all there, in the tropical glasshouse and in the garden: studied over generations and applied in industry worldwide.
A must see in the Netherlands!

The botanical garden was small, but had so many varieties of plants. It's surprising how many kinds of plants can survive in The Netherlands. Admission is free for students!
