A little bit ourtside of Middelburg you have this fun little amusment park. It consist of indoor playing area, your regular rides outside as well as a miniature city consisting of the more important structures around the island.

The rides was the best part as well as the bumpercars inside according to a five year old. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a cafeteria inside as well, in case the bloodsugar level should fall too low.

This is a nice place to visit with smaller kids. I like the fire truck best, which really drives and sprays water on the 'real' fire.

Visited with the family in Nov 2013. Lots of thing to do for the kids. Outdoor there is like a typical american circus with all kinds of attractions, including a mini- roller coaster. All is geared towards little children. All is supervised and safety is all over.

Outside there's also a collection of miniatures representing the local area of the province zeeland. Our kids got bored after 5 mins, but that's mainly because there is so much more other interesting stuff available for them.

Indoor is a large playground and a restaurant where they have a good coffee machine, free wifi and enough space for parents to sit, chat or read a book. Kids adore it. We as parents as well!

In the summer season (we were here once in August) it could be a bit busy.

Friendly staff, quality food and drinks, so we defintely recommend this place. Even when it rains.

First things first, 'Miniature Walcheren' is now known as 'Mini Mundi' so that should be corrected.

We visited Mini Mundi last summer (2012) while we were camping in Retranchement. We purchased tickets online (EUR 36,14 for the 3 of us) and took the Vlissingen-Breskens ferry, a train and a bus to get there. Public transport to and mainly from the park is terrible. The park is open till 8pm while the last bus goes just before 6pm which forced us to hitchhike a ride to the station (thank you, lovely German family!).

Okay, about the title: it's a tourist trap because the food and drinks are insanely priced and offer little quantity (quality is ok - not great). Maybe this is typical for an amusement park but Mini Mundi is more like an oversized playground. The park itself was a complete disillusion for us. It's fairly small for the price, the miniature part is mediocrely maintained, the giant part is surprisingly tiny (expect a big chair and table), the attractions are not continuously open and the cool electric train needed to charge for an hour before our kid could take a ride. The indoor part is fun but beware the slide that goes straight down, it's not suitable for all children (I had a blast though)! Overall it's a modest clean park with friendly staff that doesn't really care for you that much. Your children will have a good time and you can relax with some overpriced drinks or a game of pinball, expect nothing more. I do see the potential in having a kids party there or having a subscription if you live nearby to escape a boring day with the kids but from a touristic perspective, I would avoid a trip to Mini Mundi.

Nice for the kids, for parents it's extremely annoying you can not use your foreign card if you're using a non Dutch card and there are no cash machines in the direct area. Shame on you Mini Mundi. The inside play area would be nice if it wasn't dark but this seems to be an issue with most indoor play areas. Outside is nice.

I think the annoyance of the money suituation would make me avoid this next year. Go to the Kleine Johannes or the " het Meiveld" across the street free or 1/10 of the priceand just as nice.

We brought our 3.5 year old and she was able to ride all the rides, some with mom or dad. We brought our infant too and he could be carried on the little train ride no problem. There are lots of cute and fun rides and activities inside for young kids. Older kids, maybe 10 and up would probably not care for this place. The food was also mediocre. I liked the drink selection and snacks though!

It has small replica models of many buildings and structures in Middelburg. The models look amazingly similar to real buildings. Also, has a small restaurant and a playground area for children. Its a nice place to take your children for an outing.

On a Wednesday in June we were almost the only guests, so we had a lot of fun making nice pictures of the miniatures and playing all songs on the carillon and playing chess. One little improvement: make a brochure in English language, if there are already Dutch, German and French ones.
