From start to end this is an exciting journey. Typically I'm too down to earth to get swept away in stories / escape rooms, but this one got me all-in. The story is great, game master was just inspiring and the puzzles were well balanced between relatively tough but still doable. We played with 2 players which worked out great. I could see some benefits in playing with 3 or 4 people. I believe they did a great job in making it challenging and fun for various group sizes.
Concluding: a must-do escape room due to the unique combination of story telling, scenery and puzzles!

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed the Escape Room experience. It was cleverly created and the clues were challenging . We needed some prompts at a couple of points from our host when the solution seems to elude us, but then a gentle steer in the right direction helped us to succeed and we made our escape with one minute to spare. The Roald Dahl link to the structure of the escape room game was inspired. You need to work as a team and you need to think laterally and imaginatively but the satisfaction of completing just in time is thrilling and great fun. We definitely recommend this escape room adventure for those who want an entertaining and different way to "think outside of the box"!

We loved this escape room in the city center of Utrecht! Very entertaining with lots of different features and surprises. The interaction with the game leader was great and we loved the storyline of the game. Also, we played the escape room in English, which makes it a great option for an international group. We played with 4 players and thought this was a good number, but probably up to 6 players also works great!

By far the best escape room I've done yet. It separates itself from other escape rooms by having a great variety of puzzles, an engaging story and great roleplaying by the game master. The puzzles are masterfully crafted and we got them explained afterwards. Some very clever engineering is involved and it shows.

Can't really tell you anything about the contents of the game since I promised not to. I can tell you that it was well thought out and the story build up was superb! The puzzles were very good and quite challenging. The sound scape was good and added something and the team behind it were so nice!
Highly recommended!
Personally I wouldn't want to do this with a group bigger than 5 people it's not big enough for that.

+ Great mix of easier and harder puzzles.
+ Decor that felt fitting to the story; a bit on the simplistic side, but that also helped us focus on the puzzles and waste less time on any distractions.
+ Very engaged and creative game leader; they did more than just giving hints when asked for.
+ In the city center, so easy to get to.
+ Personalized "thank you" email with pictures of your group.
Note: I would recommend that you have at least some level

Very well done escape room, with a great story. Game leader really engages with you and makes u feel part of the story instead of just giving you puzzles to solve. Had an awesome time!

Very creative Escape Room with puzzles that are challenging but do not (in hindsight) require a rocket scientist. Great entertainment! The backstory is brilliant and the game master really succeeded in keeping the flow going. There were no dead ends.. This game keeps you thinking for days!

We have done a few escape rooms before, but this was the best one yet! We were 100% immersed in the cool story/different world. So much fun that we didn't want it to end. The room has different types of mysteries to solve and challenges to overcome, with some technical higlights and cool contraptions. Really well put together! Looking forward to other escape rooms by Subcultures. We did this one with two teenagers, who really enjoyed it as well.

Wow, just wow. My friends and I could not stop talking about this escape room after our visit, what an incredible experience. So much fun! I’ve been recommending this escape room to my other friends ever since :)
