Great selection of Dutch licorice and sweets

This place is a little hard to find, but well worth the search if you're looking for some great Dutch licorice and sweets.

A lovely super small museum to rekindle the love for old (Dutch) sweets! A great way of showing the old candy's and buy some.

This tiny museum is a hidden gem and best for a short stop while exploring the centre of the city. Upstairs one can have a look at old products and packages such as sausages in cans, old cigar boxes, washing powder, salt cones, old ads and many more. It is self explaining and there is no need for written details.... More

This is a small museum of an old shop, that is also selling 'old fashioned' candy. Nice for a short visit if you are in Utrecht. Interesting for kids to experience what shops looked like before they were born.

A cute, small museum showing live in Utrecht a long time ago. It can get a bit suffocation when it's crowded, but otherwise it's a nice place to have a peek.

Two lovely ladies run this tiny shop and museum. You can buy traditional sweets and teas. I managed to get some liquorice sweets which I haven't had in years. They told me their all time favourite was English liquorice allsorts. And they put them in what we call a 'poke' in Scotland, a cone of paper that you scrunch up... More

A lot of interesting facts and activities for kids. To be honest, I also loved it myself, as adult. We spent more than two hours in this Museum, but I wish I could have three or more.
