This is a lovely area to visit, a bit unspoilt and only a short walk from the Dom or railway station. There are some placques on the walls, in Dutch only.

I had a hard time finding this church. None of the tourist signage pointed it out. But eventually I came to streets that had "Jacob" in the name and tracked it down. Another church buttoned up tight, but still we can see some historic notes in the exterior. For example, I posted a picture of black painted shutters and doors off of a little side vestibule on the side of the church. These were little living spaces for religious devotees who lived off alms and had a view into the church so that they could attend the services. We can also see the clear glass windows which were a product of the iconoclasm when decorations in churches that had come into Protestant hands were destroyed.
