Because we spoke English, we got a separate mini tour from the other tour guide, which was great. Then we got our torches and went underground! It was so cool to explore in the dark. The atmosphere was great, tour guides were lovely. Well worth it! The only downside is one of the videos they played was in Dutch instead... More

The tour gave detailed information about the history of Utrecht city. I've lived here for 30 years now, but I still learned some new stuff.

we had a great time ..... our tour guide was really informative and gave us a good feeling to the history of Utrecht from the Roman times . We also enjoyed 'firing ' our lights to get the tour ..... kept my children happy

Unfortunately we had heard fantastic reviews, but we were not blown away with this tour, I would say if you were on a visit to this beautiful town give this tour a miss, our tour guide wasn't the best so this may have also impacted our experience

I very much enjoyed DOMunder. There were a few hick-ups. Our guide told us a few inaccuracies, which is a pitty. Also, it is important to note that the audio underground comes through your right ear only, so you can have a problem if you hear best with your left. Other than that, fascinating and educational.

I bought tickets for DOMunder for my boyfriend for his birthday. The tour starts in a smaller underground chamber. I am English and don't speak Dutch, but can pick up a majority of the information. The tour guides were really helpful, especially one woman who was able to get me information in English. We were then taken over the road... More

Big plus as they really went the extra mile and got me a special guide as I was the only visitor not speaking Dutch in the tour! The first part before you get to the 'excavation' was a bit long, would have prefer more time in the later part and shorter introduction. The part with the audio-torchlight had at least... More

Due to the weather I chose to visit Dom Under rather than climb the Dom Tower, and was greeted by a fascinating piece of history dating back to the Romans. Pretty well organised, well conveyed, and worth checking out if you are visiting Utrecht

This place isn't expensive, and show the ruins of the Roman constructions that were part of this complex. There are some lockers to keep your belongings before you go underground. Lights are also handed for people to be able to see everything there. A detail: it's freaking cold down there! Better take a jacket with you. I was lucky that... More
