A history hungry hound can find this stone house hidden in an alley. Nothing much to see, but yeah, that's like the oldest stone building so it's a very good addition to a travelers memories.

This is the oldest stone building in the Netherlands. Tourists can admire the old façade. A glass ceiling has been mounted over the alley in front, to protect the building from weather influences. People who like history should make sure to walk past this building, if they are in Deventer.

Proosdij is the oldest stone house of the Netherlands, from 1130. The location is not easy to find, you have to look for it as it's in a kind of alley. It's now a state monument.

It is amazing that there is still parts of the oldest house of the Netherlands in tact. It is not a museum that you can visit, but to see this building still standing is a miracle on its own.
