We did a 2-week biking trip in the Netherlands May 2022 organized by Tulip Cycling. The trip exceeded our expectations as the bike routes that were selected were ideal for us, in terms of distance, scenery and quality. We were proud of the 450 km that we covered as we are not avid bikers. The cities that were selected allowed us to tour tulips, windmills, polders, canals, the beach shoreline, the palaces in the Hague, old churches and fishing villages. The bikes themselves were high quality hybrid bikes with excellent gearing system, that once again exceeded our expectations. The hotels were centrally located and added to our experience. The customer service and communications from Peter Vos was top notch as we had been planning this trip for 2 years but it was delayed due to COVID. We would highly recommend Tulip Cycling and Peter Vos. His patience and professionalism was beyond compare as we navigated the complexities of booking and rebooking because of COVID. We would like to do another trip with Peter and Tulip Cycling in the future. Here are some photos from our amazing trip.

Wow, what an amazing trip! We were a group of four seeking an active trip, scenic routes, and nice stops to explore good food and wine on our way from Utrecht to Bruges. Peter put together a tailor-made route for us based on our wishes for our bicycle trip, and it was an incredibly perfect route. We could not have predicted how uniquely chosen our trip would be, all thanks to the time and attention Peter put in to create for us our perfect route through the Netherlands. His attention to detail and to safety, but also the commitment to allowing us the space and independence to enjoy our trip was a great combination. We encourage any family or group seeking to travel through the Netherlands to do so by bike, and to use Tulip Cycling as their guide! We will definitely come back and do more trips if we can!

Had a great holiday in Netherlands with these guys.
Very friendly and absolutely everything was top quality. Bikes were perfect and setup properly (usually I have to fiddle with bike setup as most companies don’t do it properly or use cheap bikes)
Felt like a good premium holiday experience and I like that there was no upsell for insurance or bike repairs etc.
Amazing routes away from traffic and even in towns on cycle paths most of the time.
The Dutch do cycling well!

We are a couple who has toured with Tulip Cycling 8 times - starting in 2007. Each trip has been very easy to plan, and the results always exceed expectations. Be ready to experience a great sense of freedom as you travel on the excellent routes recommended by Tulip Cycling. You will see interesting history and diverse landscapes from large cities to tiny villages to farm lands. It is all very easy, due to the flat terrain of The Netherlands. You will feel safe, because of the Dutch cycling culture, but also knowing that Tulip Cycling is only a phone call away should any needs arise. Enjoy outdoor cafes, bed and breakfasts, small hotels with personal service, and, always, good food. (The Dutch really know how to make desserts!) If cycling in fresh air and sunshine sounds appealing then give Tulip Cycling a try - a cycling vacation is like no other.

Excellent cycle 4 day trip (for 8 of us) through the Dutch Bulb fields incorporating Keuchenhof - quite an experience. Great support available. Our eBikes were brand new and we had no problems at all. Great routes on dedicated quiet and very attractive cycle tracks throughout, routes already fully set up on Garmin GPS - I can’t imagine doing this trip without 1 and preferably 2 GPSs. Comprehensive introduction from Peter Vos in perfect English. We had good dry weather but we were very glad we opted for eBikes when the wind blew which it did a lot. Hotels Peter chose were all good. A great holiday and I would thoroughly recommend Tulip for this sort of trip.

We've booked through Tulip Cycling 2 years in a row and each year Peter provides an outstanding experience. We travel to the Netherlands with a group of 8-12 friends and family to experience the Dutch cycling culture during tulip season and Peter helps with every aspect of the tour. The equipment and service he provides are amazing - the attention to detail, the amazing custom routes and custom GPS system are aspects that you will not find with any other company. This year was going to be our 3rd year, but sadly we were forced to cancel our trip due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Peter was very professional in his correspondence with us and very fair with his refund policy. He went out of his way to help us. We will forever be grateful. We will absolutely be back again and we highly recommend Tulip Cycling to anyone who is thinking of doing a bike trip through the Netherlands! Peter and Tulip Cycling are absolutely AMAZING! Thank you Peter!

After 10 cycling trips in Europe with different companies, I can confirm that Tulip Cycling is simply the best. We keep coming back and this was our 5th trip with them. The quality of the service and of the equipment, the knowledge of the country, the selection of hotels, the itineraries, everything is carefully planned to make each trip memorable. Don't hesitate to tailor a trip with them, they are very flexible to your needs. They can expect to see us back in the future!

Tulip Cycling is great! We did a 6 day tour in September starting from Amersfoort, to Otterlo, Apeldoorn,Harderwijk, Giethoorn and Zwolle. The Koga bicycles were amazing, comfortable with an excellent lock and front pack. Peter Vos is a superb organizer/map maker with an excellent route set out on a Garmin - "Just follow the Pink" is all you have to do, as you cycle through the fields, forests and fauna! With many pubs, cafes, restaurants , museums to visit not to mention the windmills and canals. We highly recommend this cycling company and are planning our next cycling trip in May perhaps in the Netherlands.

We had a great family cycling trip organised by Tulip Cycling ... in Germany ... not quite as planned due to coronavirus! Peter had helped us plan an itinerary from Cologne to Amsterdam, but then the UK put NL on the quarantine list 48 hours before we were due to set off. Peter was fantastically flexible, helping us with a route that didn't cross the border and putting it all into the GPS at the last minute. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and the equipment and service was first class. Highly recommended and hopefully we'll see the Netherlands next time!

Peter and Tulip Cycling exceeded all of our expectations. We had booked in 2020 and had to postpone until 2022. Routes we great, hotel locations perfect, and the bikes made the travel very enjoyable. My wife and I rented the standard bikes, which were very high grade bikes. Ride does not require an E-bike. We rode 30 miles a day (long route selection) each of 4 days. I am 58 and usually only ride that much in a year. I recommend them highly.
