Doubt
Jan 2021
Let us not write down here why we doubt that the cheese they sell here is in facrlt made here. They will try and sell you in far higher price than in delis of your home country, same cheese!

All things Cheese!
Jul 2020
This is a quick stroll from the famous windmills of Zaans Schaans. The entry is free. We were welcomed in staff in traditional costume. There are videos and equipments demonstrating the Dutch process of cheese making. The highlight of the place was multiple flavours of cheese kept in racks. There is also a stall where you can taste different flavours of cheese. We had the pleasure of tasting Herb and Garlic Cheese, Gouda (young cow) Cheese, Chilli Cheese.

Touristic overpriced cheeses
Dec 2019 • Friends
Sure, if you've never been to The Netherlands it's a nice experience. However, the experience includes a tiny milk bath where "cheese is made" with a small explanation, a busy crowd and ridiculously overpriced cheeses and chocolates.

This is plastic like Disney
Oct 2019
It’s a nice cute little cheese shop, but it’s so dolled up to hide the fact it’s just a commercial cheese store selling over priced stuff to tourists. We found similar cheeses in Amsterdam for less. But…it is a cute shop in the mode of Disney… if you like that kind of thing.

Henri Willig's Cheese products are Exceptional
Dec 2019
If you are a cheese lover, you cannot pass this buy. As such Zaanse Schans is a stunning town in Netherlands, this cheesy shop with more than 15-18 types of cheese to choose from, can surely be a mouth-watering experience. We bought more than we thought we would , and don't regret. The goat and sheep cheese are yum!
