On the ground in front of this monument there is a tile with image of "Ladybug", which is a symbol of senseless violence. The monument is located on the station square in the front of the main entrance. Tolerance is a strong world and and it means a lot. But this monumet was raised by an organization that was working on legalizing cannabis, so ..... it's typical Dutch,..... tolerance for the canabis user ha...ha...ha......
For sure it's not a tourist attraction and also it's not a beautiful work of art

Located in the middle of the train station and the shopping center you'll find this iconic little monument. Which also is a pokestop and an ingress point.

During these pressing times, it is a gentle reminder of something we all need to show more towards each other.

Dutch people are well known for their tolerance and it is a good idea to dedicate a monument to this crucial social value. It is right in front of the central station so you cannot miss it.

If you go to the Media Park, you'd better stay in the train and head to the next station that will bring you directly to the spot, including the Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid.

You will not miss this spot since it is situated near the train station. People may come and go but the message that is conveyed by this monument is strong. Feel it and you will see what it means to us in our everyday lives. When there is tolerance there is peace.in the world.

This statue is just outside the main train station so you can't miss it, but it is ugly and there is no explanation. It is not even a real attraction, so I don't understand why it is nr. 14 of things to do in Hilversum. Just give it a quick glance when walking by, but please don't make any effort to go actually go here specifically to see this.

The Hilversum train station for me is kind of a really average station, and this statue is really nice idea, but for me it is not something amazing...

When I was just living in Hilversum one day I looked out of the window and saw this monument passing by on a truck. I was intrigued by it's shape, wondering what it was about, and where it was going. Little did I know that I short time after this incident we met again, as I was going to the train to start my new study in Amsterdam. I always will remember how I saw it for the first time in that unexpected place, always making me smile a bit on the inside.

Standing at the monument in front of the Hilversum Central Station . I was a citizen of the world : borders, languages , colour all dissolved.

This monument depicts tolerance, its a beautiful monument built for a worthy but sad reason. Its located right infronnt of the central station in Hilversum so you do not have to travel very far to see it.

This moniument has everything to do with understanding and respect for humanity. Understand that we are all different individulals and respect that we are who we are.
