This "piece de resistance" from Dudok is still used as residence for the city council and mayor. Yopu can pay a visit during the weekends ans climb the tower to have a beautiful view of the whole area surrounding Hilversum, known as Gooi and Vechtstreek....More

What a standout Raadhuis! I walked around town and suddenly this great building in the sun surrounded by a small green park. This is what you call a city hall.

Raadhuis Hilversum by Dutch architect Dudok was designed in 1915 and can be visited inside as well.Situated in a green park with large ponds and surrounded by large villa's in traditional architecture 1880-1925.The building is similar to Gemeente museum Den Haag.

Recently enjoyed a visit to this important sight. It's definitely worth a visit! Its free of charge and great in daytime as well as at night.

To look at this building and it's environment, amidtst of a parc that on itself gives you peace of mind, it is a real highlight in Hilversum, Holland. Architecht: Mr Dudok.
