Playgrounds, cafe, events, goats. Do you need anything else? Its a lovely bit of the city, and there’s really something for everyone. Check their site to see what’s on.

Great little wooded area to walk through, kids always seem to find it an adventure!!
Small animal housing with birds, rabbits, goats etc and a small play area.
Great little cafe to for a coffee or some lunch. Starting to get a real "hub" feel as more and more small businesses take up residence here

Huis ter Kleef was build in 1250 and destroyed in 1572 during the dutch independence war.The ruins can be visited free of charge and I like the flower gardens that have been build around it after 1909.

The hothouses and the red eared slider turtles who live there are free to visit on workdays and there are many hothouse plants outside l during summer.
The flower gardens, ruins and mini-zoo are open every day for free.
I like that rare plants are for sale as well.
