We enjoyed our visit to the museum. A little warm inside in July but worth seeing. Huge paintings by Frans Hals and others. Nice gift shop too!

Must go! Beautiful paintings in a cossy setting. No huge lines but paintings at least as pretty as for example rijksmuseum paintings. Dont miss it!

Frans Hals is a famous Dutch artist, however his best works are spread all over the world in the best musea. You won't find his best paintings in Haarlem. However this is a very nice museum with a lot of great paintings.

Take the train from Amsterdam Central station to Haarlem main station. Walk into the centre and walk on to the second bridge, don't cross that bridge but turn left along the canal and take the second street on the left. It... More
